ס֑וֹד · Sod · A separate council

Kabbalah

A council drawn from Jewish mysticism, for the questions that ask to be heard through the language of vessels, sparks, and repair.

The other council in Banyan is pluralist — many traditions, in conversation. This one is integral. One tradition, deep. It is here for the seeker whose question is not what should I do but what does this matter, beneath the matter, ask of me.

Ein Sof — the infinite, unnameable. Tzimtzum — the contraction that made room for you. Sefirot — the ten faces through which the infinite becomes near. Tikkun — the small repair your decision is always already inside.

You bring the question once. Five voices answer. Then, if you wish, you read their answers again through the polarities of the sefirot — mercy and severity, endurance and surrender, insight and understanding — and ask what spark is hidden here, and whose hands are meant to gather it.
